Just a quick note to say thank you to the organizers of the 40th Fireman's Ball. Everyone I spoke with enjoyed the evening. There is always good food (and deserts!) and a classy atmosphere at St. Clements. Family and friends had fun (there are pictures coming to confirm that) and there was music in the air. Such events are a lot of work and take a long lead time to assemble. Nice work and thanks again to those who put together an enjoyable evening.

hey, its been a long time, just to let you know i didn`t forget you all, eileen and i moved back to florida, we just missed the warm weather. i hear kenny goble moved here too, could someone let me know where? i always go to the web site fornews. good luck with the st pats parade. let me say HELLO to all of you fire fighters, Wayne

Just a reminder that our 4th Annual St. Patrick's Gathering is approaching. This is for the Fire Department, First Aid Members, Police Department, Cadet Members and their families. The date is Saturday, March 20th immediately following the parade. The location is to be determined. Each company is being asked to donate at least 3 full trays (equivalent to 6 half trays) of food. Also, $40.00 per company will be collected to cover other essentials (beverages, paper products, utensils, coffee, dessert, rolls, butter, etc.). Please be sure to contact Hank at (732) 335-3734 to let him know what food your company will be donating. Thank you.

Doug, Always good to here from people who lived or visited Keyport and how they remember nice things. Also nice to hear that the KFD's commaradery is tops. What Company were you with? Where are you in Georgia? Tom

I was a member of the Keyport Fire Department for several years. Even though I have moved out of state, I have fond memories of Keyport and the FD. I think about you often and wish only the best in your continued volunteer efforts and community involvment. I am now a certified volunteer firefighter in Georgia but the commaradery in Keyport compares to none. Thanks for those years in my life. Signed: Doug Van Ord
